Don’t panic just because we’re bringing up squash – summer’s not over just yet. But when late summer comes around and back to school season starts, we can’t help but embrace of-the-moment produce, like early season squashes and gourds – especially when it comes to trying new recipes. We tend to associate squash with the winter months (Pumpkin Pie, we’re lookin’ at you), but the majority of grocers actually carry several varieties of squash year-round.
