Rose Truesdale is the Content Manager at Home Chef where she gets to write about food and food related things all day. She also writes about all of her feelings at rosetruesdale.com, and thinly veils articles about her feelings as articles about other things elsewhere on The Internet. In a past life, Truesdale was an opera singer with a terribly practical degree in vocal performance and poetry. She has since worked in marketing and business development for Lyric Opera and Owen + Alchemy, and is still involved in the Chicago music scene as an occasional performer in a burlesque opera troupe, and the singer of an acoustic disco girl band called Bake Sale.
In all of her free time (anxious emoji), she’s either organizing community events and marketing materials as a co-founder of The Inside Outfit, serving as the Education and Outreach co-chair of the Green City Market Junior Board, very slowly writing and illustrating a combo self-help book/ coming of age graphic novel for twenty-something women, or whipping up plant-based treats for skeptical friends. Oh yeah -- and she has an interview series called Infrequently Asked Questions that you should totally check out.
